With Alison Dunlap Coaching, Alison is filling that gap, bringing her world-class coaching to the athletes everywhere at an affordable price. You get professionally written, detailed training plans tailored for your ability level, with daily workouts and in-depth explanations for every type of workout. Here’s how it works:
Step 1:
Check out a free Sample Training Plan by choosing your category in the upper right corner of this page.
Step 2:
When you decide to become a member, go to the Get Started page to sign up, answer a few questions, and choose your category.
Step 3:
After checking out, you’ll receive a detailed Field Test to determine your heart rate OR power zones. You can train using heart rate, power, or perceived effort with Alison’s zone-based plans.
Step 4:
Soon after receiving the Field Test, you’ll receive your first block of training, and you’ll be on your way to a fitter, faster you!

Do you dream of being an Olympic Champion? How about winning a world title, or maybe a national championship, or maybe you just want to lead the Tuesday group ride? Or maybe all you want to do is lose weight, tighten your stomach, lower your cholesterol, and find motivation to exercise? Alison Dunlap Coaching is designed to accommodate anyone from the elite athlete training full time down to the recreational cyclist training with very little time. Your ability level doesn’t matter. I have programs for every possible type of cyclist. The only thing you need is a computer, email account, a little motivation, and some time to exercise.

I realize that not everyone has $300-$800 a month to spend on personal coaching. I also know that not everyone wants the commitment of working with a coach on a day to day basis. But I do know that all of us struggle for direction and crave information, especially when it comes to working out or riding your bike. These coaching programs are the same ones I give my high dollar athletes (don’t tell them that). The big difference is there is no “hand holding” once you get your program. You’re on your own. You have to be your own cheerleader. You have to be your own personal motivator.

The program you’ll get is designed around your ability and commitment level. You’ll get a monthly training calendar, showing your day to day training. You will also get a monthly online newsletter with general coaching and nutrition tips and I will update my blog on the website with racing and training information. We give you all the information, then you’re on your own. It’s up to you to figure out what to do when chaos gets in the way of riding. And there’s no one to hold you accountable for the training you did or didn’t do. The only person you have to answer to is yourself. To make my coaching affordable and accessible to everyone, I have to put a lot of the responsibility back on your shoulders. If you’re the person that needs day to day hand holding, then this program isn’t for you. But if you’re looking for a top notch training program that doesn’t drain your wallet, come on board!
